Original artwork produced following studies made of a bird during a Spring trip to Hungary. Rollers are one of my favourite birds, a species I dreamed of seeing as a youngster having collected a set of Hungarian stamps featuring exotic looking birds from a local bookshop at around 9 hears of age. Since then I have been fortunate to watch and them on many occasions, with sightings from places including Cyprus, Turkey, Hungary and Romania.
