Description
Limited edition print featuring two juvenile Bar-tailed godwits, depicted in typical estuarine habitat. This painting was inspired by a pair of birds sketched one September on the North Norfolk coast.
The original painting is featured on pages 34/35 of the book ‘There and back?’ (Langford Press, ISBN 978-1-904078-37-1), which celebrates the phenomenon of bird migration. A particular emphasis is placed on the problems faced by migrants crossing the Mediterranean, with all royalties generated by sales of the book going to Birdlife International (Malta).
