Each print is individually numbered and signed by the artist, and is printed to the highest standard using the Giclee print process. The dimensions indicate the actual size of artwork; each print has an additional generous white border for framing.
The original painting features a weathered apple tree that stood in the grounds of Staveley’s Egg Farm in Coppull, Lancashire. I could see the tree from my previous studio window, and was captivated by the early morning light as it illuminated the subject beautifully. Sadly, like many beautiful old fruit trees, this specimen has long since been grubbed up.
