The original painting was selected for inclusion at the Prestigious Birds In Art exhibition, held annually since 1976 at Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wisconsin, which seeks to present the very best contemporary artistic interpretations of birds and related subject matter.

This painting is also featured on pages 312/313 of the book ‘There and back?’ (Langford Press, ISBN 978-1-904078-37-1), which celebrates the phenomenon of bird migration. A particular emphasis is placed on the problems faced by migrants crossing the Mediterranean, with all royalties generated by sales of the book going to Birdlife International (Malta).
