Each print is individually numbered and signed by the artist, and is printed to the highest standard using the Giclee print process. The dimensions indicate the actual size of artwork; each print has an additional generous white border for framing.
The original painting features a weathered apple tree I stumbled across in an orchard in Ripon, North Yorkshire, during research for my book ‘Orchards Through the Eyes of An Artist’ (Langford Press, ISBN 1-904078-08-7). I loved the early morning light as it cast a wonderful glow on this ancient specimen, and imagined it to be a perfect roosting perch for a Tawny Owl, which I had heard calling in the area.
